COMMON ISSUE SHIRTS:
#SMR1-M, SMR1-S, SMR1-C, SMR1-D, SMR1-G, & P:

THESE SHIRTS:
Have fold-down collars with small pleats at the back of the neck - for roominess.
Have the proper underarm gusset - for freedom of movement.
Are made of a durable high thread count, 100% cotton, - with shrinkage of less than 5%.
(We do not use curtain lining material and other cheap yard goods.)
Close via a placket with 4 shell buttons and 1 shell collar button.
(During the C.W. "Four button Shirt" had five buttons - it was understood that a shirt always had a collar button.)
Also please note: Shell or mother of pearl buttons were used during the C.W. wood buttons were considered low class, for slaves or mountain-men - because they fell apart when you washed your clothing
We don’t skimp on material.
Our shirts have the proper extra long sleeves - you can reach forward with out the cuff sliding up your arm
Long shirt-tails - so that they do not creep out of your pants.

Do not order by modern shirt size.
These shirts run BIG. (up to 50"chest or waist = Lg. 52"-56"= XL)

SHIRTS FOR COOL WEATHER:

The following shirts are made of a 100% cotton having high thread count, (less than 5% shrinkage) and are of a heavier grade (7-7 ˝ oz.)of 100% cotton. The cuts of these shirts are straighter, running truer to standard modern sizing. If unsure of size, send chest, waist, and neck measurements) Sizes: S, M, L, XL, XXL, & XXXL #SHR2 Bib-Front Shirt (also known as a “Firemen's Shirt") This is the only shirt that can be worn without a coat or vest. It has a fold down collar with a single collar button, and proper C.W. rectangular bib which buttons on via 10 large shell buttons. Bib is reversible.
